Does Hashimotto's cause abdominal pain?

Hi, my mother is 66 years old and she is suffering from Hashimoto thyroiditis for several years already. In last several weeks she started to complain on abdominal pain. I would like to know if this pain may be connected with Hashimoto or it is something else. If someone has experience with this I would be thankful to hear.

Hi, I am also suffering from Hashimoto for several years. I may tell that this disease may cause constipation and because of that your mother may experience abdominal pain. I suggest you to visit her doctor and to tell him about these symptoms so he may send her on ultra sound of abdomen.
