Hello! I have been dating a very nice woman for a month. We really have wonderful time together but we still didn't have sex. Yesterday she told me that she has genital herpes and that she had to tell me before we decided to have sex. I was glad because she told me but I am also afraid. She said that she is taking Valtrex (Valacyclovir) but I am not sure if this medicine will prevent genital herpes from being transmitted.
