Does any kind of treatment helps with senile dementia?

My mother is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. She is 67 years old and first problems occurred with her menopause. It started with slight memory loss and few depression episodes. Afterwards, situation complicated and finally she was diagnosed with senile dementia. Does any kind of treatment help with this illness? Do you know?

You should know that there is not 100 percent effective treatment or medication. There are only medicaments that subdue the symptoms and disrupt the progression of this condition. That is sad, but that’s how it is. My friend’s father had the same condition and I must admit that it was actually quite a sad story.
