Hi, I am 20 years old, and my parents think they can still order me what to do. Every time when I go out, they are telling me at what time to be home, like I’m a little kid. Does any of you guys still have a curfew at the age 20?

Hi, I will be 20 next year, and I still have a curfew. I don’t have much choice but to listen to my parents, because it’s their house and they keep reminding me every single day. I would gladly move out, but I didn’t finish the college yet. However, when I do finish it and when I go away from this house, I will not come back. They are making my life miserable just because they can, and I won’t forgive them that easily. I help them with housework every day, I don’t argue with them and I study hard, however, it’s not enough for them to give me a break at least on weekends. On the contrary, they give me curfew of 10PM like I’m some little irresponsible kid. I can’t wait the day when I will finish my college, find a job and rent a place on my own. I wonder how will they control me then!
