I had surgery when I was about 12 years old (I am 19 now) and ever since then, even when the area was still fairly numb from nerve damage, there have been odd little bumps that occur on them. The first time I saw them I thought they might be bug bites, except it was odd that they occurred exactly on the scar. They went away in a few days and were mostly uninteresting except that the itched. It has persisted though and every so often, without any other stimuli that I can think of, I will occassionally get these little bumps on or right next to my scar. Does anyone know what these could be? I'm not really worried about it for any health reason, I'm just curious.
The only things I've been able to find on the internet that are similar are keloids, except these are all temporary and fairly brief, as well as not anywhere near as big. |
