Does aspartamine have any problems for persons with AIDS

I currently am going towards my 24th year having HIV/AIDS. I unfotunantly have a yeast infectin on my esphogus. This means I cannot take in sugar or at least a minimal amount. I also would urinate all night as I am on so many mouth drying medications that at night I put a couple Listerine brath strips in my mouth. This makes my moth water for a couple hours. These strips contain aspartimine. Is it safe for me to currently take about 48 strips every 48 hours? Again I had AIDS long before I began using the strips. Therefore the strips are in no way a cause for my HIV/AIDs.
