Well, I see no reason why you shouldnβt pay a visit to your doctor, just to be sure, nothing more.
By the symptoms you have mentioned I could say that I sincerely doubt that it could be the tumor because it has developed so quickly.
Breast cancers do not develop so suddenly. The first change in a shape of small lump could be spotted nearly few months before it could grow to those proportions.
Two possibilities are on my mind right now- one of them is a cyst. This is really benign condition that could be easily treated and the second is swollen
lymph node, because this area is filled with them.
Contact your doctor and let him do you a mammogram. Because a lump can be a symptom of breast cancer, all persistent breast lumps should be evaluated by a
physician.
