| From what ive heard masterbation can decrease your chances of prostate cancer and otehr harmfull things. when you masterbate you are working your prostate which helps reduce the risk. |

|

Actually, all three of you have part of the truth...
It's sort of like that old tale of the 3 blind men who are all trying to describe an elephant... touching the trunk, the tail or the leg... all were right, but all were wrong.
The truth is that 90 percent of all men masturbate...and the other 10 percent are liars.
There is no physical harm in masturbation. The problem lies in becoming totally into yourself so much that you don't build relationships with others.
There is no physical harm in NOT masturbating. If you don't, every two weeks or so, your body will begin to have "wet dreams" to get rid of excess semen and sperm. You can't stop this, only control whether your body has to or not.
There has been some recent study results that indicates a lower incident of prostate cancer in men who masturbate... but that is hardly conclusive.
If you are truely troubled by this topic and your habbits, try talking with your family doctor, your team coach, or your religious advisor. Parents can also be a great source of information, but you might also freak them out too. But consider asking your dad in a neutral, private setting about how you should deal with it.
Good luck. |
