Hi, I got mono about 7 months ago.I am a 31 female. After this infection I have gotten colds after colds, sinus infections, yeast, tiredness. I don’t have aids or hepatitis, but I suffer from and I am waiting for other test of a biopsy of large lymph node in my neck. Does a monoleads to autoimmune disease?

Hi, I also had problems after mono infection like enlarged glands in neck, they were very painful and it was only getting worse. My spleen was inflamed. I had constant headaches. At first doctor believed this was due to chronic fatigue, but later autoimmune disease was suspected. Have you done IgA level, reticulin antibody or endomysial antibody? heck your B12 level, homocysteine and methylmalonic acid too, in order to distinguish what kind of anemia you are suffering from. Have they done an ANA test? What about c-reactive protein? A CT or ultrasound of spleen could also help to make right diagnose.
