| Hello, I am 45 years old and I have started feeling the first symptoms of the menopause. This means that I am having problems with sleep, I sweat a lot, and mood changes are also present. For now, sleeping problem is the most troublesome and I am not sure how to deal with it. I heard that Seconal might help but I would like to know if that drug affects kidneys. |

| I would not say that Seconal is a mild medication that will help you without any risks. It is a medication that belongs to barbiturates and that group does have some side effects. Honestly, so far I did not hear of kidney problems, but there are some other dangers, like allergic reaction, nausea, dizziness, confusion, fever… |
