Don't know if I should take Lexapro!!!!

Hello. I have GAD, in social situations, it is bad but sometimes I have no problems at all. Doctor prescribed me Lexapro. I am not sure what can I expect. I do not know if I should take Lexapro. Would you recommend it? I do not want to be dependent on a drug to be "normal" forever.

Well, I have taken Lexapro twice and I am already feeling adverse side effects. The first night I already had dry mouth and nausea. After second, I feel that I am tired all the time and continuously feel that I needed more sleep. I will discus with my doctor about changing the meds. My advice? Think twice!
