My grandfather has angina pectoris, but the attacks did not decrease since he has been taking beta blockers. Now I am in a dilemma, I am not sure if he has heard the doctor correctly, about the dosage. Perhaps it is different for older people. And he is also taking Inderal, what dosage he should take?

Inderal is most commonly sold in pills, 40 and 80 mg. But there is also a type of Inderal, so called long – acting. Its dosages are 80 and 160. If you are not sure about the proper dosage, call his doctor, I am sure that he would be able to tell you something. As for beta blockers, they are very helpful.
