Dosage of chloramphenicol

Hi! My doctor prescribed me chloramphenicol because I have some bacterial infection. I heard a lot of stories about this medicament and now I’m little afraid to start to use it. I know that it can cause serious side effects. So, should I be careful with my dosage of chloramphenicol?

Well, the most important thing is to use it exactly as directed by your doctor. If you notice any strange symptoms, react immediately and call your doctor. Be very careful to do not use two doses at once. And if you miss a dose of chloramphenicol, use it as soon as possible.
