Thanks for your note - I know its so frustrating. I did not hear about Dr. Miller, but I went for a consultation with Dr. Steven Palumbo in Quogue, Long Island. He is an affiliate of Mt. Sinai Medical Center and I have had several referrals to him from people who have had surgeries.
Do you have any advice on who I could go to for a lawyer to get this Dr. Bellin to pay for some corrective surgery? |

| I am sure any lawyer would jump on it. I spoke with a lawyer today regarding my previous surgery that left me with a collapsed septum and nostril numbness. He said you have to have an exam and the examining Dr. has to testify that there is negligence or malpractice involved. I feel terrible about ever having to sue and I may just let it go. What hurts most is I have to pay out of pocket in excess of $10,000 to fix my collapsed nose now. I have to have ear cartilage put in to rebuild. My surgeon was also older and possibly not up to date. Dr. Miller is a young Doctor and I hear a very fine surgeon. He also was very personable when I met him for a consult. |

| I also did a search on Dr. Palumbo and even though his website says he is Board Certified, Physician search has no reported record of his Board Certification. I don't like the sound of that. That website is very up to date also on all physicians. Good luck! (His before and afters look VERY outdated too!) |

Hello,
I recently had a consult with Dr. Bellin. I was definitely not impressed by his personality, but do not hold that against his experience as a surgeon. I see that a few people stated negative things about him and it does make me edgy of course. It seems most of the complaints regard Rhinoplasties and facelifts. I am seeking him for liposuction of the abdomen and was wondering if anyone has done that particular surgery with him. Please let me know if he is safe to operate on me.

| Dr. Bellin has improved my life! He did my nose and body sculpting liposuction on me. He took time with me before the surgeries, answered all my questions, and the results were exactly what I expected. I'm more confident at my job and in life in general. Dr. Bellin is totally professional and totally talented. I think it's ridiculous that anybody would be so bitter about getting old that they blame a doctor who helps people. Obviously Dr. Bellin's a great doctor if the person went back to him again! It made me mad so I wanted to write this. |

| Dr. Bellin was great for me. He did two surgeries on me in 2006, giving me so much more confidence. He listened carefully to what I wanted and told me perfectly what to expect. His skill was wonderful. My nose is natural and has great proportion. And my liposuction was very effective. It just sounds like a bitter person who writes untrue things about a professional like Dr. Bellin. You have to wonder if some people aren't looking for miracles and blaming everyone but themselves. Hi. Dr. Howard Bellin is very good. I had implants removed and replaced with larger implants that gave me a natural look and made it look like I had a lift without the scarring. Dr. Bellin is very informative and really listens. Plus, consultations are free so you can get real professional advice and not feel like the surgeon is just trying to make a buck. Good luck. Anna

| Hi, I wanted to let potential patients of Dr Bellin's know that I'm thrilled with my new nose. I researched so many doctors but found he had the most natural results. dchider's comments almost made me reconsider going to him but I went with my instincts and I'm so happy I did. |

| Dr. Bellin has several LEGAL payouts too. I looked it up nydoctorprofile.com. I am looking into Dr. Phillip Miller. I need a revision done, my previous two surgeries left me still crooked and with numbness on my left side of the nostril. I still can't breathe either. My surgeon also had been voted Ny best Plastic Surgeon for years in NY Magazine. My nose looks worse than ever. ANYONE USE DR. MILLER? I met with him and he is good, but I am researching. |
I find this very interesting and would love to hear if you decide to go with Dr. Philip Miller and if so how it turns out.
Dr. Bellin did my nose in Nov 2004. After about 6 months I noticed that my nose was crooked and that I had a cartilage bump at the tip of my nose. He said that he would work on it again the coming Nov to fix the problem at no cost. I went and had corrective surgery in Nov 2005 and let me say - it looks exactly the same as it did before I went for the corrective surgery. I am very frustrated and also have had breathing problems since the surgery. I am contstantly (year round) congested and carrying around tissues. Dr. Bellin told me that I should go to a "nose doctor" to have it checked out. |

I was thinking of getting breast augmentation done but after reading so many horror stories about this dr and seeing a video of him performing this surgery, I decided it would be in my best interest to search other doctors out. He used saline in an open bowl to fill up implants on a patient. That is not sterile. Usually a doctor will fill it up from a sterile sealed container that hasn't had air touch it.
To be fair, maybe the video was old, but either way, I marked him off my list based on what I read about him. |
