Beware of this aging doctor, who really needs to retire. He does a great job of networking and marketing himself as this wonderful plastic surgeon, but he is not anymore.
DO NOT got to him for any kind of surgery! |

I don’t think you should say these things about a person and not stating what exactly provoked such feelings you have now against this doctor.
What made you feel that way? Have you had any unsuccessful surgeries done by this doc?
I have heard only the best about him and his practice; I am even considering having my boobs done by him. I am considering some other surgeons as well, so I would ask you to share any of your knowledge about this doctor and his practice.
I wouldn’t want to make a mistake that I could have prevented! Thank you very much in advance! |

Yes - I have had an unsuccessful surgery by him this past April. In addition, I have also rec'd an email from someone else who also had a bad surgery from him 6 months ago. Both she and I are seeking consultantions for corrective surgery, and may also file malpractice suits.
I want to be very clear, that I have a history with Dr. Bellin and have had previous surgeries with him but that was a very long time ago, and both is attitude and peformance were much better. I feel that I most definitely am qualified to make these comments and rest assured that I am just trying to make sure that others do not encounter the same problems that I have. We spend alot of money on these surgeries and they should be performed correctly, and if mistakes are made, then the surgeon should correct them.

Oh really? I haven’t heard of any such cases! It is quite surprising!
What kind of surgery did you have? What exactly went wrong and is he going to do your corrective surgery?

I had a facelift this past April. He did something wrong with the skin underneath my chin and immediately after the surgery my aunt and I noticed that I looked really swollen - when we asked him about it - he said that I probably would need Liposuction to correct it and that he would take care of it.
In addition, he had also did a cartlidge graph on my nose. He took cartlidge from my hear and placed it on my nose, but it fell - when we asked him about this too he advised that I should come back in October and he would fix. I want to point out that after the surgery his nurse told me that he decided he was not going to submit anyting to my insurance company which I thought was really strange - what doctor refuses to bill an insurance company, but I trusted him from years back.
When I returned to him to discuss the corrections he had promised - he was very defensive and tried to make me feel that I was imagining the problems - he took digital pictures of me in the office and when I pointed out the extra skin he became really irritated and said that he would do the lipo on the chin only but would not do the correction on the nose - like we were negotiating a deal or something. He was so hostile to me (and I was being very calm and nice) - that now I would not want him to touch me.
There are so many really qualified surgeons out there that I would really try to find someone else. I had a breast reduction years ago, and I was living in NJ at the time - I did alot of asking around and checking and found a great doctor and the surgery went great.
I have heard of several cases of unsuccessful plastic surgeries - you must be VERY careful about who you chose!

| This is really a bad bad story! I feel so frustrated now! i can only imagine how it was for you! And who was the doc who did your breasts? Are you 100% satisfied? Would you recommend this surgeon? |

Thanks for your support - it is very frustrating. You know I can't remember the surgeon's name - he was so good but it was 15 years ago. I do know that Dr. Acker and Dr. Silverman both in Nassau county are supposed to be excellent. As a matter of fact, I am going to Dr. Acker for a consultation for the correction.
It is so disappointing, because under my chin on the left side looks so swollen all the time, but I am hoping Dr. Acker can correct it. I won't be seeing him for a few weeks, but I can keep you posted. |

| i was going for a consultation with this doc and when i heard that he graduated in 1967 i thought about it im glad i read this first scary scary hes coming recomended by this place you call to check if a surgen is certified |

Ten years ago I went to Dr. Bellin and had a facelift, upper and lower eyelids done, and tummy liposuction. He did a great job and I have no complaints.
However, he is now 70 years old and I would hesitate to go back to him for another procedure. At that age he probably should not be working on someone's face or other body part. I believe he was GREAT in the day but as I said, he is getting old.
Also he is notorious at being late. Every time I went to him for surgery I had to wait 2-3 hours. It was very nerve wracking! |

| Dr. Bellin has several LEGAL payouts too. I looked it up ***. I am looking into Dr. Phillip Miller. I need a revision done, my previous two surgeries left me still crooked and with numbness on my left side of the nostril. I still can't breathe either. My surgeon also had been voted Ny best Plastic Surgeon for years in NY Magazine. My nose looks worse than ever. ANYONE USE DR. MILLER? I met with him and he is good, but I am researching. |
