Hi, I want to ask something. Most of you will think that I am mad or something. I am pregnant. I have found out that yesterday. I have one habit that is usually associated with men. I like to drink beer or two daily. Often, I drink it after a meal. Can I drink beer in pregnancy? I will not drink every day of course.

Any form of alcohol can be dangerous for your child. Drinking beer, wines and wine coolers are also forbidden. People think that only a heavy drinking is problem for the baby. It is not true. Even small amounts of alcohol, everything over the 1% of alcohol can be bad for baby. Alcohol finds its way to baby very fast. Alcohol is broken down much more slowly than in adult's body. You can drink non-alcohol beer but only on special occasions.
