Well overall preventing it's never fun Confused
However there are a few strategies out there that do work more or less.

1. This most likely works best for everyone, switch positions when the male ( your husband) feels like he will ejaculate soon. Or simply take breaks

2. Some people say that if you talk to your partner it will last longer

3. The one I believe to be worst... thinking about things that disgust you. I believe this ruins the whole point, pleasure, but hey what ever.
