Hello! I just stopped taking my birth control pills(tri-cyclen low)which i have only been taking for 3 weeks, but decided to stop because of the severe side effects i was experiencing..anyway i took my last pill 48 hours ago and I got my period this morning...i was just wondering if this is considered normal because with the other birth control ive taken in the past(triphasil 21) I usually got my period 3-4 days after finishing the pack. No emergency just a little confused...a fast reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's probably just some kind of side effect from stopping abruptly. I reckon your cycle will go back to normal soon after.
