I recently had a colonoscopy and was told I have diverticulitis. Can anyone tell me what foods I should avoid entirely.? What foods should I eat only in moderation to avoid the painful symptoms I have had?
I too have diverticulitus and have been told to increase the fiber intake in my diet (allbran buds are excellent for this) and to try and avoid seeds and nuts as they may become lodged in the polups and increase the chance of infection.....hope that helps a bit
