For several months I have been having problems with my period (heavy bleeding, spotting and pain). So, two weeks ago I went for a vaginal ultrasound. When I arrived hone my ob/gyn had called me an told me that I had an ectopic pregnancy-7weeks, and that I needed surgery immediately. I questioned her and the ultrasound tech and told them that I had my period on Jan 13. I had the surgery at 6PM that evening. The next day my DR. informed me that she removed my left ovary because there was a large cyst-but there was no baby to be found. I had another transvaginal -they were afraid that it could be an abdominal preg. Everything was negative-ultrasound-pregnancy test. How can this be explained.
