Effects of bladder infection on pregnancy

I have had a bladder infection for the past couple of weeks. It started around ovulation. Will this effect getting pregnant?

I am now 3 days late for my period. I took a pregnancy test (EPT) which came out negative. I took it when I was a day late. Could a bladder infection effect these results? Could my bladder infection cause my period to be late?

Thanks for your help. I can't seem to find information on this.
