Effects of marijuana versus Marinol?

Hi, I am HIV positive. With standard problems that this disease brings I have problems with wasting, nausea and peripheral neuropathy pain. I am taking Marinol (THC pill dronabinol) to treat those symptoms. But I have heard that marijuana is also good for this. Can you tell me which the effects of marijuana versus Marinol are?

Yes you have heard right. Marijuana also can ease those troubles. Problem with it is that she is not legal in some states. Also it can make some serious problems with respiratory organs. Calorie intake is similar with both marijuana and Marinol. There were some studies on this subject that showed that Marinol is not superior to whole smoked marijuana.
