Hi, I have weight gain problems. And I don’t know whether to start elliptical or treadmill training, since I had knee surgery a few years ago. Which one would suit me better?
Treadmills and elliptical trainers are both great for aerobic workout indoors. Ellipticals have only come fairly recently, whereas treadmills have been around much longer. Also, treadmills are wider known and more commonplace. Elliptical trainers have no impact on the ground, so the knee joint has lower pressure on it. With treadmill mat there is still a significant impact on your joints, although it is much better than cement. Treadmills provides a better pleasure and a better training experience for a dedicated runner. According to recent studies, with elliptical you will burn calories with the impression of putting considerably less effort.
