I would like to ask a question about my wife's condition. She is 51 years old and she is in the menopause. I have heard that this period could be very stressful for a woman and I have heard about those mood changes, but it seems that it is not her case. Actually, she is Emotionally flat most of the time, not interested in anything, and she also stopped with most of her activities. Is that normal for menopause?

Well, emotional flatness is one of the moods, right? And it looks like she is showing some symptoms of depression, which also might happen in depression. I think that you should try to be there for her as much as possible. This will pass, but you will have to help her. Perhaps she might start using some medications, which would make her life a bit easier.
