Hi,
I am 19 years old, and about four days before I expected my period to come, my boyfriend and I had sex. He pulled out, but now my period hasn't come in over a week and I've noticed a white, vaginal discharge. I am wondering if this missed period is due to the fact that I stopped my birth control two months ago (although I got a period a month after stopping) or that I'm pregnant. I am planning on taking a pregnancy test, but I just would like to know how likely it is that I am pregnant given the circumstances.

ANY unprotected sex can cause pregnancy. Because you most likely had a 'prolonged sexual encounter', (NOT for only a minute or two like other posters who ask this question) you could have come into contcat with enough precum to get your pregnant.
Are you trying to concieve? Being off of birth control is def not a good idea if you do not want babies. |

| Hi, i had the same thing happen to me, and I ended up being pregnant. It is a lot easier to get prgnant after you quit the pill. So go to the doctor, or buy a home pregnancy test, but most likely, you might be... |

Hey.
The same kind of thing happend to me! I am 22 and I was on the mini pill (Alesse) for 3 years... recently I forgot to take my pills... got some spotting, so I took 2 pills/day as recommended. I am sexually active and my husband and I use the pull-out method or condoms. One time during sex I don't think he pulled out in time.
Could I have missed my period because of the extra pills, or could I be pregnant? I have taken a pregnancy test, but it was negative, but i guess i could have tested too early.
Let me know what you think... I'm stressing... I have a lot of symptoms... but they could also be due to the hormones i guess..
