Hi, my 3 years old son has enuresis. What causes it and is there any treatment option that can get effective results?

Enuresis or bed-wetting during sleep is commonly seen in children. Genetic factors are assumed to have impact in occurrence of enuresis. Rational explanation for this problem can be in slower than normal development of the central nervous system, when the child's ability to stop the bladder from emptying at night is reduced. If there is a deficiency in antidiuretic hormone, too much of urine is produced and child has increased need to pie. Urinary tract infections are also responsible for occasional bed-wetting. Some inherited abnormalities in urinary tract structures can lead to inability to keep urine for longer time.
