Hi. I am a guy 31 years old and I have Epididymis inflammation. I was even hospitalized for a day because of it. It hurt like hell, even though I slept the whole day of. Now, along with that, when I went to the doctor he told me I have an infection of the urinary tract. What should I expect? What are the treatments?
You are in deep trouble. Epididymis inflammation is treated by antibiotics, but you will also need a lot of bed rest, and a lot and lot of painkillers. Prepare for a rough ride. If it get more severe, you will need to be hospitalized. This isn't something you should fool easily, so I would be extra careful with the treatment. It is a delicate spot after all. The infection is bad news. You will probably need extra antibiotics (maybe not), and it is a complication. You sound like a severe case to me.
