I was taking Epilim700mg/day originally, but my dose keeps going up and up.
I stopped for a while in between and took a trip to the hospital. I was stable on 700mg/day but then they started me on 1000 to see how I went. I’m now on 1500mg/day. Where does it end…I mean… is there a limit to how much one can be prescribed? I am thinking to switch on Depakote. What do you think?
I tried many different meds and epilim too. It took more that 2 years to finally find something that worked with little or no side effects. I was taking depakote until 2005. Depakote helped stabilize me, but I had to take a psychosis med with it for it to work, so I stopped taking it. The only side effect with depakote for me was it makes you hungry after taking it. I put a lot of weight.
