These tow medications, even though they have similar effects are different in their structures and mechanism. Also, their side effects are different, and it just might be that Ephedra is a bit more dangerous. It should not be mixed with stimulants (coffee, for example) or some other medication (for cold). Heart rate and blood pressure levels are increased while taking this drug.
