Hello! Yesterday I had a discussion with my brother which medicine is better Epivir or Hepsera. He is studying medicine and he is always full of information and he thinks he knows everything. I am not studying medicine I am the lucky one with hepatitis B!!! Do you have any interesting facts on Epivir vs Hepsera?
Hello! I like your sense of humor. It is good to have it and it is the best way to fight any disease. Well, it is hard to talk about medicines in such way. Epivir is usually used to treat HIV infection as therapy in patient with HIV and hepatitis B co-infection. Hepsera is used to treat chronic hepatitis B. As you can see both of them treat viruses, but they are also different. Patient's condition, sort and cause of infection are the main reasons to respect when doctor has to decide which one of these medicines to prescribe. And, I recommend discussions on football or basketball, they are much more interesting!!!
