Last night after we went to bed myhusband (65 yr old) began having a heavy pressure in his chest and felt somewhat nauseous. I thought he might be having a heart attack so I called an ambulance. They took him to the hospital, put him on all the monitors, etc and found it wasn't his heart. They sent us home saying it was esophogitis. He's had acid reflux for about a year now but this felt different. He didn't have any burning. From the description I gave of the pain does it sound like esophogitis?
