I am a 27 year old female that has been on her period for 3 1/2 weeks, being very very clotty. I stopped for one day then spotted for two days and now I am bleeding very badly and clotty again. What is this???? Please help. I have a doctors appointment the 20th and that is the soonest I can go, should I go to the ER? I am very scared.

Your very heavy period at worst could be endometriosis. But try not to worry and make an appt with an OBGYN. If you are not on a b/c pill.. You may need to be to regulate your period.
Also remember that on average it is normal to have an extra heavy period twice a year.
