Extreme lower abdominal pain after sex

I've been sexually active for quite sometime, and have been with a good amount of men. I've been with men that have very small and very large penis's. But last night i slept with this guy that was a little bit bigger then average, nothing thati've never seen before. But right after we were finished my lower abdomin started to hurt. It hurt to laugh, cought, move in certain postions. We didn't have any crazy sex, we stuck to the basic, just plain missionary. We did use protection, but latex isn't problem with me. I've been tested and i have no std's or hiv, so i know it's not that.. I did just get out of a relationship, where we did have unprotected sex, but we were both faithful. Him and i had a very sexual habit, it was sex all the time any time, but i never had this pain with him. But my pain in my lower abdomin occured last night and tonight i'm still dealing with the pain. I had to stay home all day on the couch and or in my bed beacuse it hurt to move that muscle region. SO i'm just curious what the problem could be. If he just bruised my insides, and i really have no clue. Cause with all the times i've ever had sex i've never expeirenced anything like this.

My girlfriend sometimes gets similar pain after sex. It is usually after a doggy style or another position in which her ovaries are being hit. It hurts after sex and maybe even the following day. She can move, it just feels uncomfortable.

If this happens again, I would see a doctor if I were you. There are conditions that cause pain during sex like ovarian cysts, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, so having it checked wouldn't be such a bad idea.

I had the exact same problem. I have, in the past, been with many partners... but not for years. I had only been with one partner for the past 6 years until recently. My new partner was a little bigger then I'm used too and after sex I have had terrrible pain. I even went into the er because I started bleeding. We didn't have any weird sex, maybe a little rougher then usual... but I've done that a million times and never had these results. Anyhow the Dr. seemed emmbarracced when I asked him about whether it could have been caused from a penis being to large for my frame. Finally they decided that I might have a cyst on my ovary and that during intercoarse it was probably being bumped. Now I have an ultra sound this week to check it out. In the mean time, I am in a ton of pain and on pain meds.

This same thing happened to me last night...I almost fainted the pain was so bad, and I did vomit. I put a heating pad on it and that seemed to help, but it definitly still hurts this morning!

Ya the same thing happened to me last night after I had sex w/ my bf. It's never happened before w/ him, and it almost felt like I had period cramps for about 15 mins after we finished. I'm OK today, but I'm scared to do it again because the pain was so bad. Also, I've recently been diagnosed w/ HPV so this may have something to do with it aswell...

Hi I have had the same "Sexual pain" problem before as well. It started last year. But for me I found out that my Uterus has become EXTREMELY tilted and I also found out that I have intestinal issues.( It's all new to me) Where my intestines have become enlarged and inflamed. Hence, they are pushing around all of my other organs. And any invasion of my body hurts tremendously.
So all I can offer for help is what I have previously learned about my body. Maybe it could be the same for you.[/b]

i have had these pains they feel like someone is holding on to your uterus and sweezing you can't move b/c it makes it worse and you feel like vomiting, you breathing heavy because it hurts so bad. well i have had this about 6 times since i had a leep procedure 6 months ago to get rid of dysplastic cells on my cervix caused by hpv. i never felt this before and my doctor thought it was a cyst . but i didn't think so because i have had cysts before and the pain was like a knife jabbing in my appendix area the pain normally would go away and would come back when i had sex or bent over anything that would move my insides. this new pain is kind of funny it comes at random times not just because of hard sex but even on nice loving soft sex, no correlation with when my period is coming. my doctor is pretty sure it is endometriosis, which my be. i have worked as a surgical assistant in surgery for the past few years and endometriosis is a very broad topic because you have to have an exploratory laparoscopy to even be truly diagnosed. LIke i was saying i feel that this is more brought on by the dysplastic cells and also the LEEP, the cervix is thinner and weaker and not as strong. i will figure this out because my doctors can't REALLY and i would like to not freak out my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years everytime this happens, he feels helpless and feels this is his fault. this never happened before until i had the leep proceder! i thank GOD for the leep procedure because i am 100% ride of HPV now but i guess and have to give and take a little.

i was with a larger man and had intense stomach pain the next day, chills, fever, nausea, dizziness, bleeding. The pain has continued for a year now almost every day. I was diagnosed with a kidney infection months ago, but that has been treated and the pain is still there. I also have HPV and ovarian cysts and horrible cramps. I've tried an antibiotic for the kidneys and birth control for the cysts. Maybe there's a connection with HPV?
