| MY HUSBAND RETURNED FROM IRAQ ON THE 27TH OF JUNE, MY LAST PERIOD WAS JUNE 20TH... WE TOUGHT WE'D CONCEIVED THOUGH THE BLOOD TEST ON JULY 7TH REVEALED A NEGATIVE FOR PREGNANCY...I AM ON METFORMIN AND HAVE NOT USED BIRTH CONTROL. I HAD A LIGHT PINK SHOW ON THE 30TH OF JUNE AFTER MAKING LOVE, I FEEL I AM YET TODAY THE 15TH OF JULY I STARTED A DARK YOOKIE BLOOD SHOW... MY MENSTRUAL IS A 21 DAY CYCLE...SINCE METFORMIN. COULD I STILL BE PREGNANT...DESPERATELY NEEDING TO KNOW |

Metformin helps the body to manage and respond to insulin which helps the ovaries to function better. This helps to develp a more regular ovulation cycle, increasing your chances of conception.
Now that you are sure that your cycle runs like clock work, every 21 days because of this medication, you can really plan when you may be ovulating.
I would say not pregnant, not yet any way. But try an in home test, you might be lucky.
I'm guessing you are about to start your period. Now is the time to start charting your cycle. Because you are always on time, you can decide when to get pregnant. Keep trying and good luck. |
