My dad was told he needed dialysis but he refuses it is there a way he could get better without it? Thanks in advance.

if he's been told he needs dialysis, he's close or at End Stage Renal Disease.

Bottom line, it's either dialysis or a transplant...or death. A transplant will take a long time to set up so he's going to have to do dialysis for a little while.

In all honesty, dialysis isn't all that bad, especially if he complies with his diet and fluid intake. There may be nausea for a little while, but it beats dying.
