Hi! I have family history of mental illnesses. I am 25 years old man. I have girl friend, work and normal life. I want to have children. I have enormous fear of mental illness. What should I do? Please help me, I am desperate.
Hi! I had same problem as you. My sister is schizophrenic. One day I asked her psychiatrist about my risk for mental illness. First we talk about my fear, and my feelings about mental illness then he give me some tests. Tests showed my mental condition, then I go to therapy and I resolve some my problems, for now I am not in risk for mental disease. Don’t worry, make one appointment with psychiatrist. It could be helpful! Good lack!
