I have serious problems with my mother. She is 75 years old and has problem with fecal incontinence...what could be causing it? She also started complaining on troubles with walking, she explained it by saying that her legs does not listen to her anymore. We planned on going to doctor tomorrow, but it would not hurt if I find out something about her condition now.

There is a great possibility that your mother is suffering from some type of muscular myopathy. Leg weakness confirms that and also bowel problems could be the symptom of that. Of course, everything will be cleared up after visiting a doctor. If my assumption is right, I suppose that the cause of her condition is her age. Also, effectiveness of the eventual therapy depends on the current state of her illness.
