If you have this problem for a long time I advise you to go to your doctor because things could always complicate. Constipation can be acute and chronic and I supose that in your case is chronic constipation. It can be described as difficult, incomplete or infrequent bowel movements. Causes of chronic costipation are diet, colon health problems, frequent travelling and the most common one ignoring defecation urges. Never ignore the urge to defecate because doing so you can reduce the reflex and cause constipation to worsen. Inablility to defecate is causing you to feel pressure. Chronic constipation occures more often among women. There are some things that you can do to help yourself. You need to exercise aerobic regularly, drink a lot of wather, avoid refined food, eat more fruits and vegetables etc. Take care of yourself and put yourself in first place because our health is the most important thing in the world. Unless the problem cannot be solved otherwise, the use of laxatives should be avoided.

Increase the amount of fiber in your diet.If you’re unaccustomed to a high-fiber diet, move into these recommendations slowly. The basic, wholesome diet is an excellent source of fiber. Eat lots of whole grains, especially brown rice; raw or lightly cooked fruits and vegetables; and beans, nuts, and seeds. Chew thoroughly, and don’t eat too much at one sitting, even of healthful foods. People with constipation often have magnesium often have a magnesium deficiency. Green leafy vegetables are high in this mineral, as well as in fiber, so eat kale, broccoli, spinach, Brussels sprouts, and the like. Prunes and figs are time-honored source of dietary fiber. Flaxseeds are a lesser-known but highly concentrated source of fiber. Sprinkle them on cereals or salads. Hot cereals or warm liquids at breakfast can stimulate contractions of the lower intestine. Enjoy some hot oatmeal or herbal tea. Consume fermented products on a regular basis to keep your intestinal flora in balance. Kefir and sauerkraut are good choices. Drink plenty of water to keep stools soft. A glass of clean water every two waking hours is usually an adequate amount.

If possible, get regular moderate exercise. Walking and similar actives are good. Moderate exercise helps in the assimilation of nutrients and in increasing the appetite. Avoid strenuous exercise.

Constipation is a condition in which a person experiences a change in normal bowel habits, characterized by a decrease in frequency and/or passage of hard, dry stools. Constipation can also refer to difficult defecation or to sluggish action of the bowels. The most common causes of constipation are dietary, which are discussed below. However, constipation may be a component of irritable bowel syndrome or other conditions ranging from drug side effects to physical immobility. Serious diseases, such as colon cancer, may sometimes first appear as bowel blockage leading to acute constipation. However, constipation itself does not appear to increase the risk of colon cancer, contrary to popular opinion. Although dietary and other natural approaches discussed below are often effective, individuals with constipation should be evaluated by a doctor to rule out potentially serious causes.

The following nutritional components may be beneficial. Lactobacillus Acidophilus encourages more efficient digestion and maintains intestinal health. Flaxseed and Psyllium are good sources of fiber that can promote regular bowel movements. Flaxseed also contains essential fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin C is required for formation of connective tissue and plays an important role in maintaining proper immune function. Vitamin C and Magnesium are believed to have gentle laxative properties.

dont know if this helps u but thinking about sex helps me relieve..sounds wierd but ya some reason im able to take a shit very easily if i think about it.. o_o; hope that helps haha. Laughing drinking fluids does help so if ur not drinking anything dont wonder why ur bound up and try to eat rite too..set aside time from the monitor get some physical activity done. people dont realize how much stress sitting glued to a pc screen causes, and yes it is an addiction, or can be considered one. as can anything if given so many unuseful hours a day.

If you are feeling constipated and you are heavy set, the problem might be your weight.

I suggest consulting the Genetix Program. The doctors on that program are trained to deal with eating problems and gastric abnormalities.

They are very very good. I lost 200lbs with them.
good luck.

heres my case i basically want to figure out what i have, i feel constant pain in my belly area as if really bloated my bowel movement are often but very small often 4 bowel movements in one day wont even match the amount of 1 regular bowel movement, i haven't eaten in a while i constantly feel full or bloated im now drinking loads of water but near no fibers (no hunger) it started with dry hard stools and moved on to diarrhea, after a bowel movement i often feel better but the pain comes back pretty soon its been about 2 days now since ive really felt hungry with no bloating feeling
i figured i was simply constipated to which point i would rather that than abdominal obstruction, i figured it was not the case because i had not really felt sick or nausea, nor have i vomited no fever either simply not hungry with a bloating feeling bowel movement are usualy often ( up to about 4 tims a day) but short
