I have been feeling dizzy and tired for more than a week now. I am bit worried that something is happening with me. I am pretty positive person, but lately can't say I am. Could this be depression or some anxiety disorder?

In order for me to be able to diagnose you I would need to examine you. So, if you are worried that something serious is happening with you, go to your doctor. He is the only one that can determine the cause of your condition. Feeling like you does, for more than one week is not something that you should ignore. Depression is not just a state of mind, it actually has to do with the chemical imbalance in your brain. Most of the depressed people never seek help but what is interesting is that they respond well to treatment. When it comes to anxiety, it can be a general feeling of worry, a sudden attack of panicky feelings, and a fear of a certain situation or a response to a traumatic experience. Generalized anxiety disorder is worry or fear that isn't related to a particular event or situation and symptoms are muscle tension, trembling, shortness of breath, fast heartbeat, dry mouth, dizziness etc. Another type of anxiety is panic disorder and it occurs when you have repeated periods of extreme panic, called panic attacks that last about 5 to 30 minutes. They include symptoms like chest pain, racing pulse, pounding heart, sweating, nausea etc. If panic attacks are left untreated, they can lead to phobias.

Depression is a condition characterized by unhappy, hopeless feelings. It can be a response to stressful events, hormonal imbalances, biochemical abnormalities, or other causes. Mild depression that passes quickly may not require any diagnosis or treatment. However, when depression becomes recurrent, constant, or severe, it should be diagnosed by a licensed counselor, psychologist, social worker, or doctor.
Anxiety describes any feeling of worry or dread, usually about events that might potentially happen. Some anxiety about stressful events is normal. However, in some people, anxiety interferes with the ability to function. Some people who think they are anxious may actually be depressed. Because of all these factors, it is important for people who are anxious to seek expert medical care. Natural therapies can be one part of the approach to helping relieve mild to moderate anxiety.

I've experianced the same thing as you. I was told I have vertigo. I am going to see a Natural doctor. I have been taking Ginger Root capsules, which was the only thing that helped when I got motion sickness when I went on trips. So it has helped some but I'm still tired, fatigue, and quizzy, But I can function about 50-80% so ginger root helps with the symptoms. I am also going to have my inner ears flushed and they are going to balance out the crystals in my ears, they may be slightly off. I am also going to get tested for allergies. Hi levels of mercury and metals from the things we eat can cause unbalances in our bodies. Mercury teeth fillings and to much tuna I guess. Will soon find out. So I am going to check out the natural side of things now. I don't want a band Aid, where the regular doctor just gives me a pill to shut me up. I want to get to the root of the problem.
