Feeling cramps in legs some time after stroke?

Hello, folks. My neighbor has survived a stroke. He is better now, but he complains that he is feeling cramps in legs some time after stroke. I wonder that this means. Is there anyone who could help me with this? I would really appreciate it. Thank you for all your help.

Hi, there. I am sorry to hear about your neighbor. Spasticity in muscles can be a regular thing after a stroke. It usually appears some time after stroke. However, there are therapies that help stroke patients to regain control over this spasticity. In time, cramps and tightness that these people feel will disappear. You neighbor should talk to his neurologist about this. Physical therapy is a must after recovery. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
