I am taking Buspar, one tab three times a day, but from next week my doctor suggested to increase the dose. The problem is that since I started with Buspar I’ve been feeling overheated often and there is excess sweating right after. I think I am experiencing side effects from Buspar. Is it possible that Feeling overheated and excess sweating are Buspar side effects?

It is possible! I think that you are experiencing what is called serotonin syndrome. That would be: confusion, agitation, feeling overheated or excessive sweating, euphoria, racing heartbeat, headache, confusion and concentration problems, shakiness, difficulty with reflexes, excessive salivation, rapid contraction and relaxation of the ankle muscle causing abnormal movements of the foot… you should tell this to your doctor or a pharmacist or go to Emergency at your nearest hospital.

| Everytime I take buspar I feel really sick. I start to over heat, I become really weak and tired, and takes about 45 minutes to go away. Is that normal? |
