I decided to give anal stimulation a try.

First and foremost I did a lot of reading on it. I chose something with a small diameter and used a lot of lubrication.

I found a nice old toothbrush with a round bottom and very small diameter. It started off at like 3/16" and probably at max it was 1/4". I covered it in saran wrap and lubred up everything. I probably inserted it a maximum of 3 inches...
I felt no pain and everything felt fine, however after removing the toothbrush, the tip of toothbrush, off to the side there was obvious specs of blood.

By specs I mean specs. Id say kinda the same amount of blood if one was to masturbate in a baggie and the foreskin of your penis was to experience a bit of cut.
By no means am I leaking blood and the only feelings I have right now are of deep concern after reading everything about injury.

Should I be concerned? Is this just the effects of not enough lubrication?

I suppose the blood was probably a consequence of improper lubrication and inner skin irritation. It is even more likely to be just an irritation since there wasn’t a lot of bleeding.

This bleeding was probably the only you would see and maybe even just a few more times after wiping but I even doubt that.

Similar thing happened to my girlfriend once when we didn’t put any lubrication at all. She bled only after her first bowel movement, there were just a few spots on the waste and that was it, so I reckon you are fine.

Maybe you shouldn’t even go that far inside but whatever feels right for you is ok. Make sure you are lubricated enough and you will be fine.

Of course if the bleeding persists, or appears in other occasions, you should see a doctor.
