First trimester lower left abdominal pain brief but severe p

I have had twice now a very sharp severe lower abdominal pain on the left side, painfull to move but I can relieve the pain almost entirely when going to the restroom. I havent been regular in weeks, I think I went 3 x in the last few weeks. I am atm unable to go to the clinic as I lack the funds to go. I must stress how ever the fact that the pain does last but a few minutes and leaves once I use the bathroom. Is this cramping due to constipation? Im very worried of an ectopic pregnancy hoping it to be constipation as it is gone once I go. There is no bleeding.

Hi there, I am currently 34 weeks pregnant with my second child. I know exactly what you are talking about!! Dont stress too much!! Im going through the same. You propably only have constipation. I also had the same symptoms earlier on. I only went once a week and when I went the pain also went away. The pain that you are feeling is due to constipation aswell as ligament stretch. As you are still early in the pregnancy the pain can become much worse. The only time you should get worried is when you have cramps that get worse and that falls in a time line. for example if you get a cramp that last for 60 seconds and it goes away for 5 min and comes again then you are in labour and it is said that you have contractions that is 6 mins apart. It is very normal! More than likely it is your ligaments stretching. I went through the exact pain...it will eventually stop. A wonderful website that will let you know what you could/should be feeling and going through each week is babycenter.com it is the best thing that go me through it all!!
