My three year old daughter had a long lasting stomach virus last week. She vomitted and had diahrea for five days. She also had a high fever for two of the days. She either slept or laid on the couch the entire five days, did not play at all. At the end of the five days little bumps began to appear and disappear. They looked like just like mosquito bites, white in the middle and red around the edges. She would only have 3 - 6 bumps at a time on her arms, legs and face only, but they kept appearing and disappearing for two days. After that she was fine. The rest of the family did not get the virus which has me wondering what she had - if it was a virus at all?
