Well, redness and flakiness usually come from some kind of fungal infections. If the flakiness comes back, redness persists or you experience some other symptoms like itching, swelling and alike, you better see a doctor.
Since it has been very warm lately, the testicular area is pretty sweaty since there is no air and the sweat stays in there. Sweaty areas are a very good ground for fungus to appear and accumulate. It is not a big deal except that it is really uncomfortable and annoying.
If you symptoms persist or like I said if other symptoms develop, you should see a doctor. It could be a GP or a dermatologist. If it turns out to be fungal, you would probably get a prescription antifungal cream to take care of the problem.
It could also be some other skin disorder like contact dermatitis or something similar, you you won’t know for sure until you have it checked. |
