Hi, my son has breathing problems, which are not characterized as asthma, but can not be determined as any other respiratory disease. What other respiratory diseases exist?

Hi, my brother has breathing difficulties while he was younger, occasionally he even sometimes had to stop and to cough or throw up until he would dispel some sort of mucus or flem. He has been training baseball, and it presented a problem for him. There is a measuring called spirometry that is conducted to establish whether it is a case of asthma, or not. This test indicates obstruction in the airways. After this, patient uses a rescue inhaler, an inhaled bronchodilator to see what amelioration of condition it can provide. If there is 20 of relief of symptom, patient is diagnosed with asthma.
