Hi, I am 26 years old female and I am pregnant for 4 months. As this is winter season I would like to take flu shot as I did it every year but, I don’t know if it is safe for my baby.
Also I am afraid not to get flu so I am pretty confused what to do. I would like to know if someone had a similar problem.
Hi, flu shots today are very safe and it wouldn't make any bad effects on you or your baby. However first three months of pregnancy are the most delicate so women in that period would consult their doctor about any medication they take. Also it won't be good for you to get flu as influenzavirus may be dangerous for baby in early stages of pregnancy.
