Hi! Please help me! Recently I had blood test. Doctor called me and told me that I have elevated liver enzymes. before that I twice had normal level of liver enzymes, and two times I had elevated liver enzymes. Doctor suggested me some other tests. He suspects on some lever disease. What can be cause of fluctuating liver enzymes?
Hi! I have chronic HCV Infection, hepatitis C. It is indicated by persistently elevated or Fluctuating Liver Enzyme levels. Chronic infection often goes unrecognized. Cirrhosis develops in 10-20% after 20-30 years, and some develop hepatocellular carcinoma. So, your doctor wants to know why you have fluctuating liver enzymes.
