My daughter has leukemia. I am very worried for her since she has been diagnosed. This is all hard for me, but I try that she does not see how frightened I am. I wish to help her all I can. As for leukemia she is on the waiting list for bone marrow transplantation. Our family, including me, we are all tested to see if any of us can be the donor. Meanwhile, she is on Fludabine. Is Fludabine effective for leukemia patients?

Fludarabine had positive effects with patients suffering from leukemia. It is anti neoplasmatic medication that affects the development of malign cells. It can disturb each phase of cells growth process and lead to death of those cells. In your daughters case, it damages the growth of immature WBC, so called myoblasts.
