I am 60 years old and I am now into my 5th year of menopause. Every night I experience a Fluttering Heartbeat in my throat which is very annoying and I can't sleep very comfortably. I am wondering if this is similar to what the person who is experiencing a similar condition who is in the perimenopause stage. I am experiencing hot flashes nightly .. no sweats .. but gosh, it's just not a funny thing.
